Crucitas is the most important project of golden mining industry of Costa Rica, located in the north zone near to the border with Nicaragua. The study was approved by the Government, demonstrating a great level of scientific analysis of the possible impacts of the mining industry and the modern ways to control and minimize the possible environmental impacts.
