San Rafael de Heredia Land Use Plan. 2005

Client: MIDEPLAN & Municipalidad de San Rafael de Heredia – Costa Rica

The plan was elaborated for the totality of the County, with an area of 48 km2. The objective of the project was to plan the urban growth of the county, and at the same time to protect the important water and forest resources of it. The plan included the participation of the communities in the making decisions process and involved more than 15 professionals in several fields.
